Ingredients
- 8 yams
- 1 c Brown sugar
- butter
- pecans
Directions
- Bake yams for 1 - 1.5 hrs at 400 degrees.
- Liberally butter pan and sprinkle with 1/2 c brown sugar.
- Arrange potatoes and sprinkle another 1/2 c brown sugar over top.
- Top with small globs of butter and top with pecans.
- Bake at 350, cover if necessary to avoid over-browning.
Makes enough for 12 people.
